I finally got to play in the garden (pics)
I spent all Friday weeding (great for the glutes! ouch) and yesterday planting seeds (watermelon, cucumbers, brussel sprouts, zucchini). I'm acclimating the tomato seedlings, so I should be able to plant them next weekend. Here are some photos. I didn't notice until I uploaded that there was a smudge on my camera lens. I'm to lazy to reshoot. :P I'm just so giddy to finally feel the sun again after a week of crappy weather.

garden

tiny carrots

mixed lettuce

peas (using an extra piece of fencing for them to climb)

And some flowers

Lilacs

pansies (growing from the ones I planted last year!)

Please post some pics in you got em!

:woohoo:

15. I did as you commanded ma'am
BUT! Keep in mind that I'm a rookie.

I really don't know what I took pictures of. I may be cultivating weeds for all I know. There are two versions of the story as to why I'm clueless. The short story involves beer and bad notes where the longer story involves stupdity and bad planning. My plan is to water them until they grow big enough to see what they are then pull what looks like weeds. :P

Lettuce (possibly spinach)

Radishes

No Idea Number One

No Idea Number Two

No Idea Number Three

Herb Box (no clue which is which but it's Basil, Oregano, Chives, Thyme, and Rosemary)

And my most recent perty kitty pic :D

I'm having fun. I wont even mind if I only produce a small percentage of what I planted. I just wanna make a plant have a flower :D

20. Ooops sorry...
Ok

First pic is lettuce, not spinach.

No idea #1 and #2 I'm not sure yet. Peppers maybe?

No idea #3 looks mostly like zucchini

I think you need to wait a bit until they grow up.

I got my green thumb from my Grandpa. He had a huge garden while I was growing up. I try to channel him out there.

18. the lilacs :o
They're so beautiful, so delicate looking.

I've never thought to grow carrots. I did expand my veggie bed though, growing food's important and this is only my third year doing it, I'm still learning. This is my FOOD area, the big plant in the middle is just catnip.
