26. She and I went for a walk...and then I brushed her and gave her

treats and belly rubs. And then I sat with my big tubby boy, Merlin (think this kitten x 1000) for a while. And then Nik asked me to kittensit and he wouldn't leave me alone...

...and yes, Jessie is extremely jealous. It's funny, because if I want her to come to me I can get her by merely saing,"Merlin's such a good boy...who's a good boy?"

She spent a good deal of the day sleeping on my dad's lap. :)

I had one that insisted on being held constantly as a kitten. He eventually outgrew that.

29. He will cry at the door of his room (we're keeping him mostly

separate from Merlin until a final vet check) until I go get him and, when I open the door...he leaps three feet onto the bottom of my shirt and skitters up to my shoulder. It's adorable and also annoying all rolled into one. :)

30. Pictures don't really do black cats justice.

I had a black cat years ago, and he was so much more interesting in real life. The only solution, therefore, is to sent him around to everyone to see for themselves. I'm sorry, but you brought this on yourself.
