Poll question: How often do you change the sheets on your bed?

IF all you have been doing is sleeping in them, and they don't specifically need changing because you, like... oh, I don't know, got whipped cream or something on them.

Is where I buy all my sheets. You can get some excellent deals. They have a great selection with customer reviews to give you an idea of what you're getting.

21. If I had my way...no sheets.
Well one, on the mattress.
In Germany I learned about sleeping under a down comforter covered by a duvet.
Flip out the duvet in the morning and the bed's made.
But Miz t. likes a top sheet too, so that's what we do.
:-(

24. At the minimum, every other day.

Once a day during tick season! The dogs & cats seem to enjoy napping on my bed so I accomodate them by changing the sheets every day. I use a clothesline to dry them after they have been washed.

25. I once had a student that I hired as a part time assistant
Edited on Thu May-22-08 05:40 PM by Lorien
I had to go away on business for a week, so I paid him to look after my place while I was gone "feel free to do your laundry here while I'm gone-sheets, throw rugs, everything-there's plenty of detergent" I said, knowing that he usually went to a coin Laundromat. He said "My sheets? What do you mean"? "You know, bedding; sheets, pillowcases, blankets, a duvet cover..." He looked surprised "you mean you're supposed to WASH those??" No, he wasn't kidding. He had NEVER washed his sheets-and he was 30 years old!!

:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :wow: :wow: :wow:

Needless to say, this helped explain to me why he had so much trouble hanging on to girlfriends.

I like to change linens about every three days. I like the
crispness of clean sheets, but what is even better is fresh
line dried sheets.

If he has a cold, it's amazing how many booger trails he leaves behind.

And kids are always getting colds.

40. About once a week
More often if it is cold or allergy season. More often during the dog's shedding season.

I had a college roommate that bought a new set of sheets every semester. Washed 'em, slept on them the whole entire semester, peeled 'em off the mattress and trashed 'em then started all over again. Yeah, this was the same roommate that sprayed her pillow morning and night every single day with Lysol to kill the germs.
