1. How old is Her Meowjesty?

My little girlcat, Pixie, is a bit more than 9 months old and as far as I can tel, she hasn't gone into heat yet. I suppose I should get her spayed ASAP before she does, but it seems Pixie's puberty might be a bit late?

2. "Her Meowjesty" is really Ruby--she'll be 2 in July

She's a skinny cat (after her kittens drank her dry). I only said "Her Meowjesty" because since a female cat is called a queen, an appropriate title for her would be "Her Meowjesty"!

Looks like you missed the copycat of "Her Majesty"

3. Kinda funny story

When I was a teenager our cat meowed and howled and rubbed up against us. My mom asked me "why do you think her behaviour has changed?" "SHE'S IN HEAT! We should have spayed her already. Don't let her outside unless you want kittens."

So of course my mom let her outside and we couldn't get her spayed until after she had her litter of one kitten. My mom can be so clueless.

didn't know what was wrong with the cat, and took her to the vet!

The Persian cat I had in the '80s was bred several times before I got her. She had a long and happy life after she was spade.

her kitten, Max, the firstborn of a litter of 3 (his sisters already have new homes). He's 11 weeks old today and will NOT be a big brother.
