The story goes something like this.

I had been contemplating cutting them for a while, and my friend Mel decided that she was the one who was going to cut them off. Well, recently it was her birthday, so when I showed up at her party, she said "Jonathan, it's my birthday, you HAVE to let me cut them." So I did. I was swarmed by Mel, as well as my friends Nicole, Alanna, and Hughie...and I think maybe Erica. Nicole was tipsy. Alanna was not sober, but not horribly drunk, and Hughie was completely wasted, haha. Mel and Erica were more or less sober. They had at me. When it was all said and done, Alanna found a comb and some reasonably usable scissors and tidied it up as best she could in her drunken state, without professional tools. (She is a stylist by trade.) No ears were lost, and everyone went home with a story to tell.

In addition to the pictured stuff, I bought some maroon corduroy bell bottoms I'll probably never actually wear (They're cute, but how many places do I go to where corduroy bell bottoms wouldn't look totally retarded? Not fucking many.) and a fitted denim jacket that might just supplant one of my million black hoodies as the default outerwear option.

Can I tell you how much I love this jacket? A whole fucking lot, that's how much I love this jacket. But I need a shirt to wear under it, the slinky one, while awesome, isn't quite what I had in mind.
