Which DUer's name did you misread the first time you saw it?
There is one DUer whose handle I misread everytime I see it.

"blondeatlast"

The first time I saw her name, I thought she was a blonde whose family made her sup after all others had finished:

"Blond eats last" :-)

Still, when I read her name I feel pity for the poor dear. Someone give that golden haired woman a sandwich!

Whose name do you consistently misread or assign images to?

I never saw it like that but now, I will think sandwich whenever I see the name. It will be like having song lyrics stuck in my head.

That is too funny!

I can't really find a decent picture, but they have impossibly "thick" hair that stays put, of course.

No offense, Kerry supporters.

ih8thegop = "I ate the goop"

Bertha Venation = "Bertha Venetion" (like the city of Venice)

terrya = "terry-ya", which evolved into "terrier" (no offense intended)

Whitacre D_WI = "butthead" (That's self-explanatory)

13. Who knows when and where the wind may blow?
Well, one of three things could happen:

1) Next Christmas, I will likely be in town.
2) A dear friend or close family member could die, in which case I would attend the funeral.
3) I could just decide to drop by.

In cases 1 and 3, I will likely drop you a line for beers. In the event of case 2, I may be preoccupied.

Although, option 2 was a bit of a buzzkill. If you want me to knock someone off, you should ask in person. No E-trail that way.

note to Mr Ashcroft: the above was a failed, poorly-worded attempt at humor, and should not be interpreted as an actual business transaction. By the way, you suck monkey ass.

They have an advantage -- they steer with the "good" hand while shifting gears.

For ages I thought this was virtually unpronounceable (Th-twood-beam?), but finally it hit me that it is meant to be shorthand for "That would be me".

Of course, about that time, this person abandoned that name in favor of a completely different one.
