I am more anxious now to get the elections in November over with. It's so stressful that since 2000 they have all been so close and nerve wracking. And usually, so disappointing. :(

My support group told me to just say no, but I defied them and the odds. I'm back on 'the stuff'. It is pathetic. I've told everyone I'm checking into Brittany's rehab place after this primary. I don't know if I've got the juice to make it through the GE. How bout you?

I get more and more apprehensive as the Primaries go on, and in the weeks and months preceding the GE.

I've lost 60 pounds and need to get my BP checked, probably don't need as high a dose now, but I think I'll wait till after the GE.

This is mainly why I avoid GDP. I peek sometimes, and really cheated tonight. But I'm afraid of getting so worked up I'll give myself a stroke, LOL!

I think I can avoid rehab. So far ....

60 pounds??? WTF .. are you dieting and exercising or is that mental/physical health related? An awful lot of weight if you didn't intend it. Something else happening in your life?

37. No, I'm not dieting. It's all health related.

But not as bad as it sounds. I was overweight to begin with, and could actually stand to lose another 15 - 20 pounds.

I plateaued at about a 50 pound loss for a while, but now I'm losing a couple pounds a week again, which is okay.

Sorry I can't join you in rehab. I absolutely HATE hospitals. I was hospitalized in October for kidney failure for a week. First several days were fine because I was barely conscious the whole time. But the last couple days I was practically climbing the walls and ready to go AWOL before they agreed to release me.

In my early days, I ventured into GDP to ask an honest question that I was confused about. The very first response was absolutely hostile and obnoxious. I was learning at the time, and many of the members there are very learned and sophisticated in politics, and he apparently took major offense to the question.

I let that puppy sink like a rock, as I was not interested in a pissing contest or a flame war. :scared: I decided it might be better to just lurk and learn for a while instead.

But jeeze! It's fuckin' nasty in there!
