That's what OPEC was warning us could happen later this summer. I guess that translates into $8 to $10 a gallon at the pump. I was thinking about buying a semi and going into business for myself. Now I'm going to wait and see. At $10 a gallon a truck would go through $5000 worth of fuel a week given running 3000 miles and getting 6 mpg on average. If that happens it will be interesting to see what will happen to the trucking industry and the economy as a whole. I guess I might be looking for another job. I think we are in for a major recession.

We should charge SUV's $20 a gallon anyway, until there are no more of them


That is why we are in this mess to begin with, F-IN people driving their disgusting stupid utility vehicles
they waste up to a million gallons of gas, probably more per day.........

and we should also, switch every household from oil heat to either electric, or natural gas
