A week with the grandkids.

trof is whupped.
Ditto for Miz t.

I fully understand why young folks have kids.
Keeping up with a 6 year old and a one year old is a full time, 24/7 job.

It's a fun job. Watching them figure stuff out. Imagining the thought processes.
For the one year old, 'If I push on THIS, what will happen THERE? Oh. Wow. Will the same thing happen AGAIN? YES! IT DOES!'

And the six year old.
"Baba! (That's me.) Watch me put this Bionicle together. His name is Fryxyictic (or something that sounds like that)."
Bionicles are some kind of weird alein/robotic creatures made by Leggo. There are MILLIONS of tiny connecting pieces.
Jack can whip through an assembly in 5 minutes in very low light conditions. Amazing.
I guess it develops hand-eye coordination and reasoning.
Anyway, he's damn good at it.

And one year old Charlotte just laughs at everything. Especially me. She's in love with the world.
Happiest baby I've ever seen.

It's been a good week, but we're worn out.
Time for some R&R.

mom and the girls + jeremy went camping this weekend.. i stayed at home and just chilled for the weekend and had a friend over one night which was nice. i'm not a big fan of camping(specifically with such a large crowd, lol), and it was nice just to have things quiet and chilled for the weekend.
