"Star Trek: The Next Generation" Now, name a remade TV show that truly stunk: "The New Monkees"

It was a remake of the British series Till Death do us Part. Three's Company was a remake of the British series Man About the House Antiques Roadshow was a remake of a BBC series of the same name As for stinkers... The American version of Coupling was an utter disgrace.

3. Prospered: "Lou Grant." Stunk: "Joanie Loves Chachi."
I liked "Lou Grant." Ed Asner made the premise work with a good cast. I never actually watched "Joanie Loves Chachi," but it came to mind. By that time, "Happy Days" had long before jumped the shark.

4. Oops. Guess I misread it as spinoffs. Same-o same-o.
Still an interesting premise. "STNG" was a spinoff, not a remake.
