This we learned by making a Boxed Wine joke to the guy giving out free wine samples at my local upscale liquor store.

I walked away but poor Joan_Alpern was stuck there for 15 minutes listening to the advanced Boxed Wine Technology

22. The spacebags are designed to keep the extra outside air out of the bag

they compress as you pour. Air will ruin the taste of a good wine and if you don't finish an open bottle it will get funky tasting after a bit. If you know you want to drink a bit of wine each day a box of wine will hold the flavor moreso than a bottle
