Damn, I just looked down and saw a little field mouse by my feet.
A house full of cats and this stupid mouse is running around.

How did this little mouse get in.

1. My dear texanwitch!
It's easy for mice to get in...

The real question is: Why didn't the cats catch and eat it???

Do they not normally hunt?

:hi:

2. They do hunt.
One of them is a mighty hunter but is sleeping right now, I think it is time for her to get up.

Good thing this happened to me, one of my housemates would have been jumping and yelling around all night.

4. The mother cat has to teach them to hunt
You would think they would do it instinctly but they don't.

I should have mentioned that...

3. Looks like cats are getting lazy everywhere:
Florida woman finds 8-foot alligator in her kitchen

... the alligator must have pushed through the screen door on the back porch and then walked through an open sliding glass door ...

6. Well, that would make one turn on the light from now on when entering a room.
When I was a little kid we had two big sewer rats come up the toilet.

My father discovered this when he set down, both times.

I had to deal with the sewer rats both times, my father was to freaked out.

8. OMG! That would freak me half to death!
I'd gather my cats and pup out of the house and call 911!
