Would I be wrong to beat Charles Grodin with a claw hammer?
For a host of reasons, to be honest, but chiefly for his involvement in 1976's http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074751/">King Kong.

Tell me that you haven't faced this same moral quandary at least once.

4. As long as you call him "The Duke" while you're doing it, it'd be ok.

6. Damn. That's a real Solomon-style question
Of course, Grodin made those Beethoven movies. But he also tends to stay off the radio. Astley still pops up at least two or three times during every "back to the '80s" weekends.

Gosh, I can't decide!

7. He's a supreme ass
And his talk show on CNBC in the 90's made Dennis Miller's craptacular talk show on the same network look like The Dick Cavett Show.

11. You mean when he was defending Clinton?
When he was the only person in the media defending Clinton on a nightly basis?

15. I think he was atoning for being the one who defended Woody Allen
Gad, I wish I lived in world where people consistantly agreed with me.

9. I know I posted a response to this, but it's not here.
Is it me or DU?

Charles Grodin & Cybil Shepherd, both alive despite your claim of having put them down.

HAH!!

10. I've never spoken out publicly against Cybil Shepherd
And here's a true fact: those aren't swim trunks that Charlie's wearing; it's a tattoo.

14. Be sure to start out with the hammer side first, though.
Then go with the claw side.

17. No.
Neither shalt thou harm a hair of his head, whether placed there by nature or artifice, nor shalt thou threaten his person, for terrible will be the wrath of the mods.
