NASCAR: laura appears in outfit previously highlighted by Betty Bowers
Edited on Mon Feb-16-04 04:48 PM by amen1234

cannot imagine why laura thinks that old lilac suitcoat is the appropriate fashion attire for a NASCAR race track...

same old lilac suitcoat highlighted by Betty Bowers in 2001, re-worn many many times in high profile laura photo-ops....

thanks to Betty Bowers, a woman close to God....with exclusive access to prayer meetings with laura bush*

laura bush* quote from exclusive fashion interview with Betty Bowers
"A true lady is always worried about showing up in public in the same outfit as someone else. Avoid this potential problem by completing your Liz Claiborne stretch slacks with a Butterick jacket you can make yourself using fabric from an old lilac bridesmaid's dress."

I know I shouldn't laugh, but ...

C'mon Laura - you're RICH! Start dressing like it. Spend less on your face and more on your clothes.

Where's Nancy Reagan to give her fashion tips.

3. Laura Bush is not really a bad looking woman
If she would just dress better for her age, body type, and environment, Laura wouldn't attrack all the snickering. I don't know what it is with her. I sometimes wonder if maybe she isn't consciously -- yes, consciously -- doing her best not to be attractive, either because she's afraid of what would happen if she got more attention than * and made him jealous, or because she really hates him and hates being his wife and hates all the rest of his family and general shit.

That said, I still think she is one of the worst dressed women on the planet, and with no excuses for her bad-dressedness.

Tansy Gold, who is no fashion plate herself but doesn't pretend to be one

4. Who cares how she dresses?
I hate all that superficial crap.

She married and stays with GW. Now that is a reason to diss her, but I don't care what she (or anyone else) wears.

Flame me if you wish. I can't help it - people put too much importance on how one dresses. I just don't see that it matters.
