1. I can't get past the fact that Ritchie Blackmore used to be Ritchie Blackmore

I have this dreaded fear that he's going to re-record "Smoke On The Water" on a friggin' LUTE or something.

I mean, he USED TO BE RITCHIE BLACKMORE, ya know?

One of the guys who made that horrendously stupid song "Convoy" was Chip Davis, who founded Mannheim Steamroller.

3. Yes, I like Blackmore's Night.

I like Village on the Sand and their arrangement of Greensleeves.

I also like Deep Purple and Rainbow. I like the swords-and-sorcery classical vibe he goes for.
