Some people just plain rock!

Peter and Christine Telge are two of these people. Peter's the owner of Milly's Tavern, a brewpub in downtown Manchester, and his wife Christine is a law professor. When a fire ripped through an apartment building earlier this week, over 100 people were left homeless. Peter and Christine opened up Milly's as a collection point for food, clothing, furniture, and other goods for the fire victims.

Some business types in Manchester get more press and more snazzy awards, but few of them quietly do more for the community than these two. Christine ran a strong race for alderman last year, and by god, we will get her in next time!

And they're big Obama supporters, too!
