This guy nearly destroyed OSU football, and if he hadn't been such an amazing recruiter, he would have destroyed it.

When Robert Smith came out and said he'd been pressured NOT to go to a class because it interfered with a NON-mandatory practice, he should have FIRED the coach responsible. But he spun it to the media, made excuses, and Smith left for NFL fame.

And that was just a typical story with Cooper. Why they kept him on for so long will always baffle me.

As for Clarett, I'm stunned and confused....but I will say this. Jim Tressell is not screwing around on this one. He's put Clarett on the sidelines until he hears more about the details.
