WARNING: IN YOUR REPLIES, DO NOT GIVE AWAY DETAILS OF THE SEASON 5 FINALE! I HAVE NOT SEEN IT!

- What has been the best season of the L Word?

- Second, what has been the single best episode of the L Word?

My pick for the best season so far is Season 1. Why no means a perfectly written season, it kept me entertained and interested all the way. Season two mostly sucked, with the exception of some memorable moments and a good season finale. In my opinion, Season 3 gave season 1 a run for its money (except for Alice's obsession of Dana at the beginning) until everything nosedived in the last three episodes of that season, and the Season 3 finale has been the worst of the series (I have not seen the season 5 finale yet, so I don't know how awesome or bad it is). Season 4 was a rollercoaster of great and terrible moments, and the mediocre season finale was saved by a beautiful ending.

My pick for best single episode? I don't know... there have been several great ones along the way!

1. Hmm...

I would actually say seasons 2 and 4 were the best. Season 3 was just too depressing.

I think the best episode, although it's hard to choose, was the episode in season 2 where it's pride week. (It's called "Loud and Proud") - lots of funny, memorable moments.
