My brother, oh... thank you for asking. He is the same, really. He lays there day after day unable to communicate, immobile, in isolation, ravaged to skeletal proportions by infection and tethered to his bed by all the tubes. Going on well over a year now, it is an absolute horror; an impossibly sad and exceptionally frustrating situation. And the people in control, those who make the decisions that cause him to go on living this way with no hope of improvement when his body is constantly attempting to shut down, act like it's all okay, like he must necessarily be "happy" just to be alive because after all, they are pro-life. :cry: But... I digress, and don't wish to threadjack. Thank you for your concern, though. And thank you for the link. You are so thoughtful, and so sweet. :hug:

I have one DUer completely blocked (the one on this thread) because I can't trust myself not to take him to task for being an asshole, and frankly that isn't my place.

One DUer sends crazy PMs to people...I have her on PM ignore.

And finally, I blocked the OPs of another DUer who used to get under my skin. Now that I can only see their replies and not their OPs, I like them a lot better.
