You ever wonder about the origins of "copycat"?
I did (and I think its really relevant around here) So I looked it up and found this interesting tidbit:
F
or other uses of the word copycat, see Copycat (disambiguation)
A copycat (also copy-cat or copy cat) is a person (or animal, or computer program) that mimics or repeats the behavior of another. The expression may derive from kittens that learned by imitating the behaviors of their mothers. It has been in use since at least 1896, in Sarah Orne Jewett's "The Country of the Pointed Firs". The term is often derogatory, suggesting a lack of originality.

Interesting. I did wonder if there really was a feline explanation behind the word. As for this sentence:" The term is often derogatory, suggesting a lack of originality." why do I have a feeling DS1 would agree whole heartedly with that...

3. I have been wondering what we will do, if a democrat is elected in
November, and how to change that joke to accurately reflect the new president. Notice that I didn't post it in GD:PP!

Of course if McCain is selected, then the joke stays the same, with just a name change. :(
