1. Ooh! That's another mental block for me
In doloamber's "grammar nazi" thread yesterday, I mentioned "correspondence" vs "correspondance" and how I never get it right. I mess that one up pretty often, too...

15. Which is which?
I get confused by that one - does "it is" contract to "its" or "it's" ?

18. it is contracts to "it's". Also shows possession.
"it's it's stuff, leave it or you'll piss It off..."

I know they'll be disagreement, but hey, when I learned the rules, there was NO such word as "insightful", and "animus" was something Jungians studied. adversaries had "animosity" towards each other, not "animus"....
So it's it's shit. leave it.

19. Wrong. It's exactly what I'm talking about!
"It's" is the contraction of "it is." The possessive of "it" is "its," as in: "Having noticed that winter was coming, the bear retired to its cave."

But you're right about the Jungian stuff. Are you making a funny? If so, it went over my head.

It's "anoint," NOT "annoint." Also, it's "inoculate," NOT "innoculate."
