Pelosi retires after 35-year career

This is relevant probably only to me, as I lived in Watertown for a few years in the 80s. I knew people who had this man as a teacher.

Dr. Pelosi, who has served the better part of his career in the Watertown School System, began teaching math at Watertown High School in 1972 after earning his master's in education from the University of Connecticut.

After five years at WHS, Dr. Pelosi pursued his doctorate in math education from UConn, while also taking courses in pure mathematics at Wesleyan University in Middletown.

While pursuing his doctorate, Dr. Pelosi worked as a research assistant in the field of learning disabilities. Concurrently, Dr. Pelosi was conducting doctoral research related to the area of gifted math in both Connecticut and Rhode Island in conjunction with Brown University in Providence.
