or trying to get me to lift them up so they can sit on me. :)

at you don't get them sitting on your back..They like that spot because they have learned that poking me in the behind with a claw WILL wake me up

10. I bottlefed 5 of my babies, and they KNOW I am their Mom

They ALL lay on top of me..and they "knead" me..in both ways that word sounds :)

It's funny too.. when they were babies, I alwasy whispered to them, and even now, as grown up kitties, they respond more to whispers than normal speaking voices :)

12. I'm the preferred furniture for Ruby

...when she's allowed to be around the house, but in part because she's nursing her 2-week-old kittens, in part because my roommate's dogs chase cats, and in part because my (soon-to-be) former roomie is allergic to cats, she has been relegated to the laundry room for her own protection and that of her babies.

But once I move out into my own place, I'm sure she'll be planting her kitty butt right on top of me.
