Weird goings on around here.....

We had a beautiful snow Thursday night and like most folks around here I took some pics. Brought them in to review and found an image that wasn't there when I took the pic. I think I took a ghost image. I can clearly see a face (eyes, nose, mouth) and what looks like a shoulder. I can't post it b/c I can't find my cable to download the pics....think my kiddo hid it.

Anyway, has anyone else taken something like this??? I'll post the pic as soon as I can.

4. This is the first one I have taken...

so I'm a little wary of calling it a Ghost image...yet. The more I look at it though, the more convinced I am.

I took these pics right out of my back door. My laundry room is just to the right of me. My dryer wasn't on and I don't have a heat flash. My neighbor also wasn't doing laundry. SO really, I have nothing to explain the "fog".

I immediately asked my friend who was with me if she saw something in the pic. She said yes and mentioned the face as well. (No, I didn't tell her it was there.)

I took what I had thought was an eerie photo and it turned out to be cigarette smoke.

The "Ghost Hunters" guys from the Sci-Fi channel have a message board were lay people will analyze people's mystery photos. The site is a bit challenging to maneuver, but give it a shot.

Plus, I have this habit of holding my breath when I take a picture....stems from a camera I had that if you didn't do everything just right the pictures were crap!

Note in the first pic the orb right in the middle, which is always the sign of an entity. Don't write it off as a photo artifact--most people do--but a lot of the time they're something else entirely.

But what really struck me (you can see it best in the 2nd pic) is the face - towards the upper right hand corner. It sometimes takes a second or two to see, but it's still there....for me anyway. :shrug: So far, my neighbor and friend has been the only other person to see the face. She saw it about 5 minutes after I originally took the picture.

I don't think it's malevolent, but I did have issues with a not so nice child spirit in my previous home. I never got photos, but it was a feeling...It started with me noticing that I could hear my son on multiple occasions have FULL conversations with someone. Kinda freaked me out at first...then I attributed it to an active imagination. Shortly after thinking that it was his imagination, I began to really feel the presence of the entity. I was fine with it, until it started harassing my child. It was mostly not letting him sleep by moving around, playing, etc when he would try to take a nap or go to bed for the night. The dogs, when they were inside, would stay close to my son. Ginger even slept with him if I left the door open for her. It was almost like they were guarding him. We ultimately moved out of the house for other reasons, but I have always been glad that entity was tied to the house and not to us or my child.


Anyway, I just find this whole thing cool....I've tried once to send it in to TAPS, but have to try again...for some reason it didn't get sent. I'll keep you posted.

19. How strange--I can't see it!

:crazy: I just can't see a face in that mist. But I don't doubt that it's there. I figure it's just my blind spot--and the fact that you captured the orb and the mist in your pics is the cool thing.

We have a ghost in our house; in fact, this is our third house, and our first house had several ghosts, our second house had none, and this house has one (a former housekeeper), and it felt weird NOT to have a ghost in the second house.

Entities are often attracted to children because kids can see them and communicate with them easier. I don't think your entity was malevolent--it just didn't know that it was time for the kid to sleep. If that ever happens again, all you have to do is talk to the entity (it'll feel weird, of course, talking to what seems to be "nothing"!) and just ask it to let your child sleep. It should oblige. If it doesn't, tell it you'll banish it if it doesn't comply with your wishes. If it still doesn't behave, then go ahead and banish it; entities have no choice but to leave if you banish them.

Our housekeeper ghost is really into teetotaling--I think she was a proponent of prohibition--and she kept breaking our wineglasses. But after I asked her not to, she stopped. They're much more obliging than you think. :hi:

..which it may very well be, I'll tell you a story. There was a bronze plaque, on the campus, where I attended college. On it, it said, "Things are seldom as they appear..." or something close to that. A couple of years after school, while visiting the campus, I took a pic of the plaque. I'll try to find the pic and scan it one of these days when I have more time. Back to the story. Only that one photography had that same kind of image on just one side of the pic after it was developed... and... and, only that one single photo was a double exposure (it happened to be in the middle of the roll of film, too). Weird? Just a coincidence? I'll never know for certain. What I do know is this: there are many things in this world we just don't understand... and there are many possibilities that some people just don't open their minds to. Maybe it's fear of the unknown... maybe it just doesn't seem "scientific" enough. I've learned, in life, not to exclude the possibility of something paranormal just because it's easier to take the other path.
