Are Clark & Kerry traitors?

Unlike President Bush, Clark and Kerry evaded the Guard by going to Vietnam.

They join John McCain in the hall of shame. (While Bush was finishing up a rigorous two-year flight training program, McCain was lounging at the Hanoi Hilton.)

BUSH G.O.O.P.

You're violating Andy Card's Rule #1:

NEVER introduce a "new model" of attack ad before Labor Day!:eyes:

3. Yes, and so am I, I guess. I avoided NG service too, in fact
I remember every day of 1972.
Hot, horrible days wading all day around rice fields. Trying to find dry ground to sleep on at night, avoiding every kind of bug and snake you can imagine, and the shits.
God, the shits.
Yeah, that was a grand year. My CO offered me the chance to go work on a Senate Campaign in Alabama, but I turned him down. You know, I was afraid it would not look good on my service record.
You never know who might want to take a look at it, you know.

5. that's assuming anyone can actually FIND your records!
And on a more serious note, thank you for serving. My husband served in Vietnam, and it's so difficult for me to imagine just regular, everyday guys going over and facing what no human should ever have to face.

Thank you. :pals:
