Kid Rock wearing a flag, or people I see on the streets every day who wear American flag caps or T-shirts or jackets or scarves? I'm sure that some people wear flag underwear.

Unless people are willing to give all of that up, in order to observe a single strict interpretation of our national symbol, then Kid Rock shouldn't be singled out.

If anything, Kid Rock should be ostracized for his apalling lack of talent.
