One of the hardest surgeries I've ever done...[WARNING - photos]
My daughter's bear sustained a massive head wound recently. Tonight I conducted major facial reconstructive surgery. I apologize for not having any "before" pictures, but time was of the essence. I think it turned out quite well. The injury was just below the left eye. You be the judge.

2. Good work, should heal nicely
At worst, it will just need some vitamin E cream applied daily for a year or so until the worst of the scarring disappears.

I can just imagine the pressure in theatre, not a patient you would want to loose.

:-)

6. Doesn't it need one of those cone things?
To keep it from licking the wound?

11. I think it may have been the cat
We discovered him after the attack. I suppose he could have fallen off the bed and landed on some blunt scissors, but I find it unlikely. I suspect the cat in this.
