Looks like I'm packing up again. Can't afford heating oil prices and my commute is expensive. Any wonder I won't let people get close? Either I leave (due to circumstances) or they move...

So, can anyone top 11 states and/or 25 addresses??

;)

12. That's a bummer...
On the plus side, though, they take care of snow removal. On a day like today, that sounds really, really nice.

your quality of life - being able to stay warm and solvent - really does sound wonderful.

My sister and her husband live in a McCondo-type place, but they both travel all the time and needed an easy place to care for, easy to get to the airport, etc. It's certainly not either of their first choices, but it works, and honestly, with the touches they've put into it, it is quite comfortable.

I hope it is better than you expect, lizziegrace.

16. The single room occupancy hotel wasn't fun, but I never had to
spend a night in there alone. That was the hardest ... we kept milk and pizza on the frozen windowsill.

If you can reach out to another, no matter how wrong it feels - the payoff could be worth it.

18. I'm up there with you
I've lived in 4 states & at least 25 different addresses and I'm 36!!!
My Dad was in Real Estate and Insurance in the 70's, so we were always on the move. Plus my Mom loved to fix up new houses. In the last 10 years I've only lived in 2 homes, though.

26. 45, 3 states and 12 addresses.
I have been in the same
place for 23 years now.
It would be easier for me
to burn my house down
and have to buy everything new,
than try to pack up and move
all the crap I have accumulated
over the years.

Good luck on the move. It may
end up being for the best in ways
you do not even imagine now.
