To accomplish that, the first of this season's eight episodes airs tonight at 9, in the "Grey's Anatomy" time slot. The season debut will be preceded at 8 by a clip job, "Lost: Past, Present & Future," recapping what's been going on.

...since becoming a new dad two and a half weeks ago, I haven't had a chance to watch a live TV show yet. I have last week's "The Wire" on tape which I still have to watch. And I'll have to tape Lost tonight 'cause my little girl isn't all that predictable.

I was a big "Party of Five" fan, and missed him during the interim between the end of that series and the beginning of LOST. Last night I just thought wow, this guy really has it all, good looks and a real emotional range. I just love him.
