It's 'Over Rice' night at the Green Meanie's. What's sup, loungerz?

'Over Rice' consists of anything over steamed rice... generally, it's leftovers. Tonight I heated a small pot of leftover chicken curry, leftover Mike's Super Bowl Chili (Thanks for the recipe TahitiNut!), and steamed broccoli with butter. It was quick, easy, and uninspired. :thumbsdown:

I really hate cooking on Mondays.

Tonight, it's Stew Night!

I started a nice beef stew just a little while ago....yummmmmmmmmm!

It makes quite a lot, and will feed me and my husband for at least a couple of dinners!

And in case you haven't tried it, put some lemon juice on your broccoli, along with the butter...It's wonderful!

I will try that! When I make the marinade for grilled veggies I use lemon pepper so, it make sense to use lemon juice.

10. Beef Bourguignon, salad w/gorgonzola, bread, cheesecake...

It sounds harder than it is. Its basically cut up steak simmered with red wine, mushrooms, onions.
