Headstone photos for CaliforniaPeggy (Major dialup warning)
Per our conversation in a thread from yesterday.

These were taken by me at the Mount Olivet Historical Cemetery in Nashville.

Enjoy!

1. My dear Prisoner_Number_Six!
Wow, these are so beautiful!

I am completely blown away...

Especially poignant is the one that collapsed...

Thank you so much for retrieving and posting these!

She looks almost alive. I can almost see tears on her cheeks.

7. Here's a small one found in the National Cemetery in the Presidio, San Francisco Presidio

The Army now knows him only by that name, and that once, back in frontier days, he served the Army as an Indian scout

10. Thanks!
I don't have a problem with your using them- perhaps if you make use of them for something you publish you can toss a credit my way.

I scanned these at very high resolution- if you'd like the original unshrunk tif files I can put 'em on a cd and get them to you somehow.

You can PM me if you'd like to give me your mailing info. Otherwise go ahead and use these as posted.
