I've been pretty busy for quite a while and I also just haven't been too enamored of DU this past year or so, but I'm still around and perambulate on by now and then to watch the proceedings (I like to watch -- apologies to Chance the Gardener for that one).

So with skimpy and unconvincing explanation of my periodic disappearance in place, let me take advantage of this opportunity to confirm what many of you already know just through the magic of the Internet: Mr peurco-bellies is an exceedingly excellent dude, a man so nice (indeed, he emanates niceness vibes continually) and gracious that it's kind of a shock to be in his presence, especially when you happen to meet him after dodging various Type A (Type L.A., I guess) people who filled the space between where I lived and where I met him, and first met NSMA, close to four years ago. I haven't met too many DUers yet, but that sure was a banner day for it.

He makes some ultra-bodacious jewelry, too!

Anyway, thank you, y'all, for thinking nice thoughts of me. I've been disillusioned with DU, of late, but I'll always value many of the people I know through this community, or first got to know this way, and that includes each of you.
