3. As fun as it is to poke fun at such things, I've found it has genuine validity.
A part of us is always from that time, and if that time wasn't what it should have been, that part still requires nurturing.

This goes to the book I'd recommended in one of your threads: You can heal your life by Hay. It might not spend a lot of time on the inner child, but it spends time on developing a loving attitude towards ones' self.

Love is our main source of nourishment. Enough of it can heal any problem. Too little of it, and you see what we get all around us. A society based upon fear and anger.

I'm somewhere between fear/anger and love, so I can say that these things work, if you work them. Develop the habits that make you happy.

Cheers SPK, I hope that all is always well with you and yours.

8. thanks Peake
anger isn't a bad thing

it is what you do with it

in fact

anger may be well a step ahead of what that inner d00d was doing before

13. As you must know, admitting that you have it is very important
and the beginning of understanding and releasing it.

Congrats.

18. I've always kind of scoffed at it
the idea anyway

I don't think it is an excuse, I think it is a way of nurturing the child inside that never got nurtured.

I'm on the backside of 40 too.
