Paul Newman will be 83 years old. Wow. I'm amazed. He looks so damned good.

1. My mom (who is in her 60's) met him waay back when...
Just as he was starting to get popular..Went ice skating with him w/out knowing who he was..except for the fact that she was flattered by such a handsome man (with amazing blue eyes she said) asking her to skate. Apparantly he was a real nice polite fellow, at least back then...

He donates all profits from his food line to charity (Hole in the Wall Gang) and lives quietly. Nell (daughter) is now the CEO of the line and it retains good principles, similar to Ben and Jerry. I never met him personally, but know people who did. One person said his parents live on the other side of his backyard border--pretty wealthy part of town. They're in Westport, Connecticut. Yes--he has beautiful eyes. :)
