why is there a damn ant in my house?
and where the hell did it come from?

it's 12 degrees outside. it really hasn't gotten much above freezing a whole lot over the last six weeks. i haven't had problems with ants (or even seen one inside) for over a year and a half.

but there the little bastard was, trundling across the bathroom floor.

in case anyone cares :P

8. In your walls most likely...
but don't be too concerned unless you get a lot of them. I have had them for years, but they are more of an annoyance than a problem.

You may try some "ant gel" that you can get at Home Depot. That took care of mine for quite awhile.

Carpenter ants, on the other hand, can cause problems, but I'm sure it is not them.

14. Better than mice.
Some poor confused mouse was walking around in my bathroom last night. It seemed to have lost its hiding place.

I was coming out of the shower when I saw it. My dog just walked around after it, sniffing. Of course, my cat was nowhere to be found.
