What does this shirt mean?

My grandma sent me a shirt that says "My cat is home schooled (and it shows)" Does it have to do with having cat hair everywhere? I don't understand the part about schooling. :shrug:

that her cat is so brilliant because it didn't go to public school. I don't think it has anything to do with cat hair.

(Home schoolers "hate" public schools. No idea why some cat owners do, though! Some public schools even have mice!) :shrug:
