An old personal favorite photo, rescanned and restored
Some here may have seen a version of this one before- when I did the original scan many years ago I used an old low-rez scanner, and I was never happy with the result. Meanwhile, the photo itself traveled with me to a lot of places, and has come a little careworn. So when I got my new scanner I promised myself this would be one of the first ones I would redo. And I'm a man of my word.

2. It was a once in a lifetime shot
I was in the right place at the right time, with my old beloved Nikon FG at my side. It was in Nashville, in December- the snowfall was unexpected and sudden. It was over in minutes, and the snow began melting away immediately. I snapped a single shot- it was the last shot on the roll.

Still, it's far from perfect- the focus is slightly off, and it came out a little dark. But I did my best to bring the old image back to life.

3. I like the fact that the focus is a little off...
It gives the picture a romantic atmosphere...

I didn't even notice any darkness...

You done good!

You should be proud...
