3. LMAO
How sweet it is to see Lord Favre return to form and throw the game away.

And that catch was complete, BTW. Both feet touched before he landed OOB.

kind of --- but, no one champions small markets, when it comes to the NFL. Much better for the sponsors if NE/NY compete ... more dollars all around.

Or for that matter, how did Indy & Chicago BOTH make it last year?

Go to bed, hopefully you'll be less whiny in the morning.

This was even reported on in the past week; they thought it would be the highest rated Super Bowl ever. Not that you'd let facts get in the way.

And I'll be watching even though MY team has never been in the SB and, based on their current status, probably never will.

I'll be cheering on Michigan man, Tom Brady, and the Pats and hoping that the Giants', Amani Toomer, another Michigan man, does well but just not quite well enough to win.

Go Pats!

Just one bad call gave it all to the Giants ...

But, they will get whooped up on by the Pats, so not all is lost.

This Superbowl will be something like 42 to 10 Pats over Giants --- Yawn (but will watch the half time show)

...no I mean fumble........

But on the other hand the guy gaurding Plaxico was getting torched by Plax, so GB decided to get physical, too physical and Plax got thrown down good. I remember Toomer got away with a good shove on a db.I thought the game was not called at a high level by the refs.

Now I have to put up with another season of All-Favre, All the time...

I bet your dad would have just enjoyed your company during the game, win or lose. A win would have been nice of course, but those memories of dad are better I bet.

I was rooting for the Packers, too, although I am a Bengals fan. I think they would have matched up better against the Pats on offense and would have had a better shot at winning in a shoot out. I'll always root for the underdog when my team isn't in it.

71. Brett is a great QB -- but it takes a team to win, not just one guy.
The three (or four) penalties (including a cheap shot on Manning) allowed the Giants to keep a drive alive that should have been stopped. The Giants eventually scored a TD on that drive.

I'm sorry your Dad's team lost, but the Packers lost that game fair and square. Don't blame it on one call. (That was a legitimate catch, by the way.)

68. The Giants are on fire right now
Had that play been called back, Burris would have just caught the next one, I mean, he was hauling in passes at will.

The Packers' Secondary was weak last night, their running game went extinct and Favre went inside when he should have gone outside on his last throw.

The Pack will be back, as will the Chargers.

I still think Joe Montana or Johnny Unitas is the best QB that ever lived.

70. Ha Ha -- the Giants OUT PLAYED the Packers...that is why they
are going to the Super Bowl. The Giants receivers ate the Packers secondary for lunch. I had to go back to my Tivo to see the play you are whining about. Sorry, you are wrong...that was a good catch.

You want to know another reason the Giants are going to the Super Bowl? Two fifteen yard penalties for cheap shots on third down which gave the Giants a first down and allowed them to eventually score a TD.

Thank God the Packers aren't going to the Super Bowl -- they don't deserve it.
