It's Super Bowl.

Two words.

Two. Words.

Thank you. Carry on. :patriot:

I do find it stupefying too. I once gave birth on Super Bowl Sunday. 21 years ago this coming Friday. Anyone know how that game turned out????

10. Alt-0220 for the upper-case 'Ü'
Alt-0252 for lower case.

Ö — alt-0214

ö — alt-0246

Those are the only umlauted (?) letters I have on my cheat sheet. All the codes are at Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map.

That's on a PC, o' course. :hi:

18. OMD!
That never occurred to me.

Hey, y'think it'd fit in a sig line? :D

Next time, bypass Teh Google and go directly to one o' these:

Monty Python's Flying Circus in Australia is the Python reference site — it has all the MPFC scripts, movie scripts, song lyrics, a ton o' Real Audio sound bites and a bunch more stuff. Plus, it's searchable.

It's a mirror site, though, so some links are dead. And it doesn't have photos.

Monty Python's Flying Circus — Just the Words is the internets version of the two-volume book set of the same name. It's just the teevee series, and it also has no photos, nor does it include descriptions of Gilliam's animation bits. But it does tell you, via color-coded text, which Python played each character.

You can't link directly to any page on either site. Dunno why.

For photos, you need these two: Monty Python's PythoNET (the photos are at the "Free Stuff" link, sorted by movie or episode — but it's missing several episodes) and LaTaJaCy CyRk MoNtY PYThOnA (a Polish site, but not that hard to figure out; "GaLeRiA" is pretty obviously where the photos are).

:hi:

19. Both 'dammit' and 'yessir' are colloquialisms
and thus quite acceptable. :)

My nose scrunches up when I see "damnit." Takes all the colloq out of it. :P

(And while we're on the subject, I guess "the damn thing" is also a colloquialism, but it makes no damned sense.)
