What's for Dinner?
We're currently cooking a beef roast (stuffed with garlic slices and rubbed with kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper and garlic salt) on a bed of herbed root vegetables (potato, carrot, turnips) and asparagus sauteed in olive oil with fresh garlic. :9

You? :hi:

12. Yes, it's the new menu over at my favorite place
www.aquatini.com

Alec Maxon can do no wrong. I even see things I've hated all my life on the menu, and order it with them in it, just because I know he's going to find a way to make it tasty. And he does.

14. Leftover CPK Thai Chicken Pizza
Haven't been there in a very long time -- I was hungry, it was great lunch. How I love three day weekends when I can take some time to goof off.

17. The herbs are...
Basil, celery salt, and fennel seed. I also doused the layers of root vegetables and sweet onions with one 12oz bottle of Sam Adams Boston Ale. The Pyrex dish was wrapped in aluminum foil to keep the juices in, which I feel is necessary to soften the root veggies.

It smells incredible in here 40 minutes later. :9
