1. caught that earlier - pretty strange
I thought they were going to say someone had renovated an old Olive Garden and sold it as a house. That it was a copycat was just......

5. They're produced by the same guy, Doug Berman
Wait Wait is great live. If you get a chance to see it, take it. I work for a public radio station and we've presented the show live three times and sold it out every time.

7. Well, Peter Sagal and Carl Kasell, of course
We've also had Mo Rocca twice, Adam Felber twice, Roxanne Roberts twice, PJ O'Rourke, Kyrie O'Connor, and Charlie Pierce. I'm hoping that when we host them in 2009, they send Roy Blount, Jr; I just love him, he is so funny.

When they're not traveling, the show is recorded live at the Chase Bank Auditorium in Chicago on Thursday nights. If you're going there for any reason, PM me and I can arrange tickets for you.

All the cast members are really nice in person; in fact....Mo Rocca called me this morning while I was listening to him. We have stayed in touch and are figuring out how to get him here to do a piece on pre-Lent paczki, so popular here in Michigan.

Also Amy Dickinson and Roxanne Roberts... and Paula Poundstone... oh heck, they're all hilarious!

We've actually been talking about taking a trip to Chicago this spring/summer -- it would be a total blast to go to the show! I will definitely keep it in mind and PM you.

Thanks so much for the offer!!! :D

Edit -- funny, until i saw your post i always pictured the name as "Carl Castle"!

10. radio spellings
That happens to me often with proper nouns. I don't have a TV but am an absolute NPR junkie, so I hear about things in the news but can go years without seeing a spelling of a name or place, or what someone looks like.

I like to stick with the spellings and pictures in my head :)
