I fucking can't sleep!
3:30 am, took no naps today, but I simply CAN'T get to sleep!

Any tips?

3. Warm turkey sandwich
No don't try watchin any politics...the sane mind can only grow angry and anger is no use when you want to go to sleep. Perhaps a good book...may I suggeste ANYTHING by Thom Hartmann. He has a knack for discussing things relevent to our world without instilling a lot of anger. "Cracking the Code" or "Screwed, The Undeclared War Against The Middle Class" are two great books by him. I understand these suggestions may do you little good if you don't have Turkey or Thom Hartmann available but surely you must have something you can read...reading is a great distraction and a great way to productively while away those hours where you would rather sleep. For me, the combination of warm turkey and a lttle light reading knocks me out fairly quickly. Even a turkey pot pie will do it for me. Good luck

6. Drink some milk.
Then run as fast as you can head first into something hard. Maybe that will knock you out. Or you could probe the Lounge for something good to laugh at and give up on sleep like I did years ago. I hardly ever sleep any more. I can't remember my middle name half the time, but at least the insomnia doesn't bother me any more. :)
