I just got home from the bar after a moderately heavy night of drinking (6-7 beer range plus a shot) and the only thing we discussed at the diner over our late night snack was presidential politics. Apparently I still make a pretty good case for supporting John Edwards when I'm half lit...who knew?

2. My brother and I were drinking tonight...

and we were discussing UFOs and the possibility of life outside our solar system. Then we shifted the conversation from UFOs and aliens to ghosts.

So yeah, we're nerds too. Nothing wrong with that. :)

I had to deal with a torn ACL about a month ago. I was covering a Sunday morning practice and was dozing off at my desk when someone ran in screaming "so and so hurt her knee badly". Lo and behold she tore her ACL and medial meniscus...I suppose that's what I get for falling asleep on the job
