So far my old style, noncable ready TV I bought for $5 a last weekend is still working.
It was marked $20 but by the time I got there it was down to 5 bucks.

It was turned on and had a great picture so I bought it.

I hooked it up to my cable box, the picture is excellent.

I need to hook up a RF Box and I will be good to go.

3. I found my RF box tonight.
The person at the yard said they never used the TV because it wasn't cable ready so it like a new tv.

It is only 13 inch but that is big enough for a second tv.

The picture is so good, better then on my cable ready tv.

2. I have a big old console TV in a ...
...beautiful pecan exterior that I bought at the Gospel Mission Thrift Shop ten years ago. It's just superior! It's probably forty years old. Great picture, great sound. I paid $25 for it. I hope it lasts forever.

6. I had a little battery TV years ago.
I have never seen one like that before.

Those old TV's are hard to kill.

7. Mine's got just a little bit of fuzz
at the very top of the screen. Other than that, it works perfectly.

Well, wait — the AC input jack needs to be re-soldered to the circuit board. Once in awhile it cuts out and I have to jiggle it. But that's nothin'.

8. Nothing wrong with that.
My other TV is going out, so this new litte TV maybe the only TV for awhile.

Just don't want to spent the money on a new set now.
