This fundraiser was so awesome, and the comments were so wonderful, that some non-DUers who heard about it and know me from other places have donated too. Word went through the office and I think some co-workers contributed. Friends of mine from MySpace donated.

The fundraiser was a wonderful surprise, and then it was a phenomenal success far beyond anything I expected. I'm still a bit in shock about it. LionessPriyanka will be receiving a few checks, and then we'll know the final total and I'll be able to order the scooter.

So, now that DU is purchasing this scooter for me, DU should name it.

What do you think his/her/its name should be. :)
