Do y'all remember how I had to give up our PhatCat Brenda? Maybe not but
this is funny. We did it while the kids were gone because obviously there was going to be a huge upset. We already had three cats and Brenda not only did not adapt to them, but she was always the aggressor, charging and attacking them whenever they came within jogging distance. Even that was okay, but she finally began to urinate and poop all over the house in protest and the only alternative was to force her outside (she'd been an indoor cat for eleven years) or keep her in a small space with the litter box. We opted to return her to the Humane Society, hoping that she would fare better than she had at our place. (Our humane society does not "put down" animals if they are not adopted. They keep 'em.) ANYHOW, I've been posting about the breakup of me and the boyfriend. Yesterday I went to his apartment. His daughter came down the stairs to meet me and following behind her was... Brenda!!! The boyfriend and his daughters couldn't bear to think of her "alone" so they went and adopted her! I was so happy to know she was being well taken care of, and she looks great.

Just wanted to share. It puts me in a great mood to know that somebody has saved Brenda's furry ass, and that she is loved.

Brenda. The fur on her belly has grown in. :D
