19. I think the Weather Service needs to use your term and apply it regionally.
Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 09:40 PM by hedgehog
I am so sick of getting WINTER STORM WARNING whenever we expect two or three inches of snow. This is Upstate New York, north of Syracuse and right in the snow belt. As a matter of fact, my house actually gets more snow than houses a mile north or south of here. My husband was out of town and asked me how much snow we'd had overnight. I told him not enough to bother with. When I went out and measured, it was 10".

Now the Weather Service needs to start letting us know when to expect a shit load of snow using the modified DU shit load standard.

Around here a shit load would be at least 24". In Atlanta, I imagine the MDUSL would be a minimum of 3" to 4"

20. matcom's office emailed every one and told them
to work from home tomorrow! Lucky bastid! I will most likely have to go in...working for a bank some times can really suck! :banghead:

He is a sweety though and said he will drive me in to work. Thank goodness for the 4 wheel drive truck we bought in November!

22. Thanks!
I'll make sure to tell him that in the morning. He is already sleeping. I on the other hand, am going through my usual Sunday night insomnia :grr: Slept too late this morning, and am worried about the storm, so I probably won't get much sleep tonight.
