9. thank you!
I don't really know much about birds, but your conure is lovely. Does he/she talk? And Lilli is spectacular (looks like she knows it, too ;-) )

How big is Lilli? Do Norwegian Forest cats get as big as (or bigger than) Maine Coons? I think Silver and Marilyn are part Maine Coon - their sister, Ingrid, had a different dad, I think. But Marilyn and Silver are big, long cats (both bigger than our one male, Tommy, but dwarfed by the giant Ivan) with rather dramatic neck-ruffs (can't see them too well in the photos since I'd draped "jewels and lace" - ha ha - around them) and these gorgeous long, plumed tails. Whenever they run through the house I think of the Musketeers with feathers in their caps.

16. Gnocchi talks a little bit (see below)
Weegies can get pretty big, but Lilli's not quite at Maine Coon size. And yes, she knows she's gorgeous.

64. What's Lilli's temperament?
We have a cat, Cocoa, who is at least part Norwegian Forest Cat. She is a little bitch! And not a cute bitch. Just a bitch. We do love her, though, of course.

but he's not nearly as loquacious as his buddy.

Gnocchi (my bird) can say "I love you" and "wanna come out" and "good morning", etc, but Bialy (my GF's Maximillian's Pionus) is one of the better talkers I've seen. He's at least as good as an Amazon, though probably not quite at an African Grey level.

32. Cats + birds are challenging but it can be done
It's actually easier than dogs + birds, since dogs are much less tolerant of being shut in the bedroom while the birdies have their flight time.

terrier. Finding him on the side of a highway all we can really do is guess. Even the vet couldn't decide which one. Those 2 are buddies, rarely see one without the other right behind.

Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 11:38 AM by Blarch
This is Cody (Siberian Husky) chillin after dinner. He is a big boy, about 85 pounds. Sorry to say he is a known cat killer.

This is Ringo(Husky). He is also a cat, chicken, raccoon killer :grr: ..I would love to have some cats, but...anyway, this dog got loose and almost killed my goat that weighs 300 pounds, he weighs 100 pounds himself...but scared as hell of fireworks and mouse traps. As you can see he is cute as hell, a real pretty boy.

This is Terri, a neglected dog that was at a home I was working at. The dog was chained up outside all day and then went to the basement all night. When the kids came home from school they would walk right past the dog and not even look at her, the dog wouldn't even look at them...no love at all. I said to the homeowner that he had a problem..and explained his problem to him..I went home with the dog that day. It makes me feel great to see her running and playing with my other dogs, she loves her new life.
