No one has called me one....yet

However I am scared to post (esp in GD/GDP)...there seems to be post-discrimination going on...
I know this time of year, freepers are lurking, but just because I have a low post count doesn't mean I am a troll....please don't lump me in with the other >1k posters w/ nefarious intent

If pushed...I will whip out my picture of me and Wellstone (despite how unflattering it is of me)... and if pushed over the edge dammit I have Al Gore's autograph from his first summer as VP when I went w/ a group of college dems to DC to meet him and Clinton.

I rode in a 15 passenger van w/ 14 other college dems (some of the hygiene-challenged) for 33 hours (lots of problems on the way including an incident w/ a raccon in Ohio and some redneck truckers in PA) from MN to DC and I still have emotional scars from having to beg for money from Sen Durenburger to pay for our way back.

So don't nobody be calling me a troll or a freeper or it will get ugly up in here.


Phew...thank you...I just had to get that off my chest. I know that others here have more Dem cred than me, but I am sick and tired of the trolls giving us low-posters a bad rep...

My grandpa said if you don't have something nice to say then don't say nothing at all....well that makes me pretty damn quiet lately.

Oh and one more thing while I am on this soap box ... goddamnit...we should not EVER be having an argument about whether GLBT "deserve" equal rights....what the fuck?? I have said this before and I will keep saying it...gay and transgender rights=civil rights...there is no "some" rights..like they "can" be treated fairly in employment setttings, but they can't marry .. that they don't deserve that right. who the fuck is anyone to "grant' anyone rights...we are all equal there are no shades of gray on this.

If you think it's bad now, wait a couple of months! I've seen posters with low post counts get attacked. Often, when I check their profiles, it turns out they've been on DU longer than I have.
It might get pretty crazy sometimes, but this is still the best game in town!
