101. HEY! I am a postal worker (NALC Branch #47) so I feel that I must defend my lazy

co-workers. I am sorry- I know that a lot of the old timers have 'atttitudes'. Some of them honestly feel that if something is misaddressed, if they don't send it back, it will never be corrected. I feel differently, but I still care, only have been postal since 1994.

I just had to chime in! Sorry! And I would post a pic, but I am very computer illiterate. Just imagine a woman in her late 40's (although people say that I look younger :blush:) with hair past my shoulders and blue eyes.

I mailed something to my friend, who lives in Brooklyn also, about a quarter of a mile from where I live in Brooklyn, and it was returned to me because the zip code was wrong (i assumed we shared a zip code), but all the rest of the address was right.

120. I know- that is so stupid- I don't understand that mentality

those lazy postal workers are probably Repubs, believe it or not, we have our share- and they are usually the SCABS, also- don't join the union, but they reap the benefits of it. Those kind of workers are the ones that give us a bad name. Be wary, though- we know an awful lot about the people we deliver to! It is evident if someone is having an affair- or is having financial problems- crazy how much you learn about people from their mail.

But I live with my mask.

Funny story: I searched for a lot time to find a really good mask to wear when my migrains hit me. I can's stand to have anything touching my eyes so it had to be one with a raised surface.

Two DUers were in town and we checked out a sex-shop they had heard about. They had some S&M masks, and one of them is designed to cover the eyes with little raised pockets so that nothing touches the eyes. So I have a mask from a sex-store to use when I have my migraines.

it was over the summer. i wanted to go to astroland before it closed. i'm an amusement park/old-timey nerd, so it was a bunch of fun. it looks like i'm going to have one more season too, so i'm going to go back this summer too.

and i'm going to see the pogues on the 15th of march. st patrick's day is my favorite holiday, it's neat that i'll get to see my favorite band two years in a row on (or around) my favorite holiday.

actually, i'm thinking of moving to new york in may, so who knows what's going on...blah blah blah rant rant rant.
